Assembled Parts
By providing simple to medium complexity assembly operations PB is able to provide our clients with cost savings and greater value. Where other shops must stop and ship products on so that manufacturing can proceed, we can often perform simple assembly operations in-house that allow us to go further or that allow us to complete machining operations in an order that provides a higher quality end product at a lower cost.
For example, often we can combine parts into a small assembly allowing us to better mount a small or hard to grip part for further machining. This capability allows us to complete the machining of the part without creating chuck marks that need to be removed in another operation.
In-House Bending Operations add another dimension to our work. Parts fabbed from round stock or tubing can be shaped before, during, or after threading to best accommodate other steps in the parts overall fabrication. This allows us to eliminate fabrication steps and reduce production costs.
In developing an assembly process we work closely with our clients to insure that we understand the part the assembly will play in their process and that we meet their overall requirements and objectives.
